Curriculum
At Christ the Word Catholic School we recognise Religious Education, Values and Ethics (REVE) as a core subject of the curriculum and ensure that 10% of curriculum time is devoted to teaching Religious Education, as directed by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. All pupils at KS4 complete a GCSE qualification. In Lower School, teachers use TenTen and Lighting the Path to support the teaching of REVE.
