Apply for Nursery Sept. 2024
Children can attend nursery from the September following their 3rd birthday. Having a place in a nursery class at Christ the Word Catholic School does not guarantee your child a place in a reception class at the school, and you will need to make a new application for reception class.
For children born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, you can apply for a nursery place from 25 September 2023 and the closing date is 16 February 2024.
If you’ve already applied, we’ll let you know the outcome by 7 May 2024.

If you’re applying after the closing date, your application will be processed after all the on-time requests have been dealt with. Late applications will be considered together, regardless of date received, against the oversubscription criteria detailed in the Denbighshire Schools guide.
