Nursery
Nursery is for learners between 3 and 4 years old.
Children attend for either the morning session or the afternoon session.

- Spend time reading with your child
- Talk together about what they are doing in school
- Tell your child how proud you are when they do well.
- Encourage them to join after-school clubs or activities
- Ask them to help you with things they are good at.
- Your child’s teacher will provide you with updates on progress and invite you to the
Progress Evenings through the year. Your child will receive a written report once a
year. Progress Reports page - Please contact the school if you have any concerns about your child and we will meet you to talk about any next steps to provide support and encouragement.
- Make sure your contact details are up to date, including your telephone and e mail
address if you have one. - Look out for text messages and e mails from school.
- Check that your child gives you any letters that are sent home.
- Check the school website.
- Try to come along to events at school.
- If you are worried about anything, go and talk to a teacher. They will want to help.
- Your child needs to wear the Lower School uniform.
- You need to contact the school on the first day of the absence to let us know what is wrong and how long your child is likely to be absent. Find out more about attendance here.
